Business network and VPN

The network is the one thing that, when it fails, stops the whole office at once. We design it, install it and keep an eye on it.

In short

Network design and management for offices in Albania: structured cabling, Wi-Fi with separate guest and company networks, firewall, company VPN and authenticated remote access.

In small offices the network almost always grows by accretion: the provider's router, a cable run when it was needed, an access point bought in a hurry because the meeting room had no signal. It works while headcount is low. Then come simultaneous video calls, shared folders, the network printer and the first problem nobody can explain.

The work we do is turning the network back into something designed: knowing how many devices there are, where the cables run, how much bandwidth is actually needed and who can reach what. It is not a showy job, but it is the difference between a quiet office and one where somebody is always rebooting something.

What it covers

  • Structured cabling

Network sockets at the desks, a tidy cabinet, labelled cables. It looks like a detail until you need to find which port serves which desk.

  • Wi-Fi designed, not improvised

Access points placed against the real floor plan, with coverage verified on site. Guest network separated from the company one, always.

  • Firewall and segmentation

Filtered inbound and outbound traffic, separate networks for staff, guests and devices such as printers or cameras, which are usually the weak point.

  • Company VPN

Encrypted remote access to internal resources for people working from home, travelling or based abroad, authenticated per user and revoked immediately when someone leaves.

  • Site-to-site links

If you have an office in Italy and one in Tirana, we connect them so shared resources are reachable from both without exposing them to the internet.

  • Monitoring and documentation

An up-to-date diagram of how the network is built, plus periodic checks, so whoever touches it after us knows what they are looking at.

How we proceed

  1. 01

    Site survey

We look at the space, the lines available, where people sit and where they will sit a year from now.

  2. 02

    Design and quote

Network diagram, equipment list and cost, with alternatives where they genuinely exist.

  3. 03

    Installation

Cabling, equipment, configuration, Wi-Fi coverage testing and a load test against video calls.

  4. 04

    Documented handover

Credentials, diagram and instructions for routine operations stay with you, not only in our heads.

Why a separate guest network is not optional

A visitor's device, or an IP camera on old firmware, sitting on the same network as company computers is the most common way an outside problem becomes an inside one. Separating them costs little and belongs on day one.

Questions about this service

Often not. We check what is there, test the runs and intervene only where needed. Redoing everything is rarely justified in a recent building.
